Meet Cole

Yep, that’s moonshine.

As long as the alcohol hadn’t been previously swallowed, I drank it.

Alcohol was a big part of my identity. I couldn’t imagine my life without it.

I romanticized it.

I even found a career in the hospitality industry that encouraged alcohol use. Read more about that here.

I loved to party, and I was always the one urging others to drink.

Here’s the thing that it took me a while to realize: alcohol was controlling me and keeping me stuck.

Alcohol began to take up a lot of space in my life.

It started to take more than it ever gave.

For instance, I love to explore nature. But it was hard to find motivation for adventuring with a perpetual hangover.

There was a long road from realizing the toll booze was taking to actually stopping for good.

Breaking Free

I decided I wanted to find out who I was without this substance in my life.

That inner exploration began to affect my outer world in beautiful ways. Things began to shift.

I gained insights. I found my calling to be a coach and support for men who want to drink less.

That calling led me to coaching certifications with This Naked Mind Institute.

Curiosity and compassion became my main tools to explore my inner world.

I discovered long-dormant aspects of myself, reawakening with new life.

In early 2021, I was first introduced to Internal Family Systems and parts work.

The model had a big impact on my life and fit perfectly with where I was; I now use IFS in coaching clients.

Look, I know this journey is difficult for many of us. That’s why I am here to offer a place where you can open up without shame or judgment and begin your journey to changing your relationship with alcohol.
